Bitcoin mining difficulty reaches new high
Just two months after the halving and subsequent difficulties, the difficulty level of Bitcoin mining hit an all-time high of 17.345 trillion.
According to the BTC.com pool, as a result of the last adjustment, the figure rose by 9.89%, setting a new record.
At the same time, the hashrate of the network at the time of publication is approximately 124.29 EH / s. The rapid recovery of activity indicators actually made the fears of some experts unfounded about the gradual attenuation of mining and miners’ departure due to losses.
Noticeable positive changes began in June, when after the next recalculation of the difficulty, it jumped by 14.95%, almost completely leveling the previous falls.
Since the growth of this indicator directly affects the security of the cryptocurrency network, the positive dynamics is positive news for investors..
However, a significant increase in difficulty also affects the profitability of mining, due to which some miners may start selling more BTC than usual again, putting pressure on the market..
